Dare is named after Virginia Dare of the Roanoke Colony. The name Virginia Dare has come to symbolize wholesomeness and purity. That fits Dare to a tee.

Dare is a quiet, gentle soul who loves babies of all species. When Crissie had her babies, Dare would sneak in the whelping box (she was only a year old) to clean and “feed” them. She would let them nurse and try to consol them when they became mad because the milk faucets didn’t work.

Dare took a break from the conformation ring in 2007. She will be returning in 2008. I also hope to start her on stock (I will be starting her myself) and start agility training. She is one of my future MVA prospects.
