Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).12/06/2008-AKC agility. Jinn received his first Excellent A Q's......Q-1st. Exc. A JWW, Q-2nd Exc. A Standard. In addition their first attempt at FAST (novice) resulted in a Q-1st.

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom), 10-4/5-08 PASA Stockdog trial....mulitple qualifying scores over 100 including High In Trial-Ducks at the Saturday p.m. trial.

 

Windmill's Smokey 1V (Smokey) and Jerry Del Rio for passing their CARDA (search and rescue) Cadaver Type 2 Test. They are now certified by CARDA as a Cadaver type 2 area search and rescue dog team.

 

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom), 9/27-29/08 COAST/Cayucos working trial. Multiple placements including 1st place on ducks and 2nd place on cattle to finish his open titles.

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).9/7/08 Delta show and ASCA agility trial....They only trialed on Saturday...but OH WHAT a team!! They had multiple 1st places in the Elite division....but the best was a comment I over heard...."Oh!! it is Nicole and Jinn that are up...that is ALWAYS A TEAM YOU HAVE TO STOP AND WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP (Zoom), 9/7-8/08 DELTA Show and ASCA agility trial. Zoom Q'd/3rd place to finish his elite gamble title. Zoom also had some other nice runs and is really starting to understand obstacle discrimination.

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom), 8/16-17//2008 "The Cup Stockdog Trial"" hosted by COAST. This is the final trial in the GOLDEN STATE SERIES. Zoom wins the silver belt buckle for Open High Combined.

 

Windmill's Meant To Be, TD, CGD (Shane)and his owner Marcia Hodes. PASA conformation show 8/9/08. Shane's first show, first time he met his handler....first place. Thank you Sahara Lowery for doing such a wonder job showing Shane.

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom), ASCA year end merit awards-finishing # 11 on started cattle.

 

Windmill's Virginia Dare-DNA-VP (Dare), for taking a 3 point major at the COAST show, 7/5/08 under ASCA Sr. breeder judge Denise Creelman.

Dare also took a reserve winners in the a.m. show under Sr. breeder judge Donna Wright.

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom), 7/4-6/2008 COAST Stock dog Trial/Cayucas-We are FEO until September but Zoom had some great runs with some scores over 100.. I messed up his sheep runs (some still qualifying) by not watching my inside ewe...When will I ever learn????? We also had a great time doing a practice run for ASCA's farm trial....I love it...Thanks so much to the ASCA stockdog committee for your time and effort in creating this great program.

 

A-CH Windmills Crystal Pistol-DNA-CP (Crissie), ASCA Altered year end finals. Despite not being shown since early December 2007, Criss made it into the top 30 (#28 spot) to be invited to the 2008 ASCA Nationals altered conformation invitational.

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).ASCA year end......Jinn and Nicole qualified for the 2008 ASCA Nationals agility Finals!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).6/22/08, Northern Nevada ASF-Carson City NV-ASCA agility. Jinn Q'd twice in elite jumpers, once with a 1st place and the other run had a timer malfunction (no option was given for a re-run). This finished his Q's for his ATCH jumpers....now on to those gamble Q's

 

Deb Langly & Windmill's Chasing a Dream(Kip), 6/14-15/08 Monterey Bay DTC AKC agility trial. Over the weekend Kip Q'd 3 out of 4 runs, taking a 1st and 4th in standard and a 2nd in JWW.

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn), 6/14/08 Monterey Bay DTC AKC agility, Jinn Q'd/1st place in standard to finish his open title.

 

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP (Zoom), 6/14/08 Monterey Bay DTC AKC agility. Q'd/3rd place in open jumpers for his 2nd leg.

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP (Zoom), 5/25-26/2008 ASCA/COAST agility trial. . Zoom received multiple Q's with class placements in standard and jumpers. We definitely have more work to do before Zoom is ready for elite gambles.

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom), 5/24/08 COAST Stock dog trial. FEO-open sheep score 103 and FEO-open ducks score 104.

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom), 5/17-18/08 Delta Stock dog trial. Saturday Zoom qualified in open sheep with a score of 107. All of his other runs were feo and for the most part he had scores over 100. In temperatures above 100 degrees he gave all he had and just kept working. This was also his first time back on cattle since being hurt. His first run he did not want any contact with the cows. By the 4th run he was starting to gain his confidence back, turning heads on his own and thinking about going in for a bite. It will take some time but I think Zoom will come back 100% on cattle.

Deb Langly & Windmill's Chasing a Dream(Kip), 5/18/08 PASA/ASCA-Kip Q'd and took a first in Novice standard for his title. In addition he Q'd and took a 1st in open jumpers(this was his first time in open).

 

Sally Josselyn and Windmill's Uusi Paiva DNA-VP(Pai). 5/19/08 Pai had her first introduction to sheep. Sally reports that Pai "turned on" within minutes and had sustained interest. Pai will continue to get small amounts of exposure to stock in the coming months and may even start lessons in the future.

 

Marcia Hodes and Windmill's Meant To Be, TD (Shane). 5/11/08 Shane received his first leg on his AHBA instinct test. All of his marks were at the top and the judge commented that he had lots of potential.

 

 

Margie Crewson & Windmill's Daretobe Different (Bowen) 5/10/08 Bowen passed his CGC test with flying colors. Bowen is also in training for agility and obedience.

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).4/26-27/08 USDAA/SMART-Prunedale. Jinn Q'd-6th place(out of 52 dogs)Grand Prix, Q-7th place (56 dogs) steeplechase and Q-7th place(47 dogs)masters standard.

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP(Zoom), 4/19-20/08 Silver Bullet Stock dog trial. First time in open. Saturday Zoom qualified on cattle with a 1st place & ducks with a 4th place. We did not handle course C on sheep very well......but we will be practicing. Sunday FEO ducks was a qualifying score. We did not get to do our sheep run as Zoom was hurt during his cattle run (he is ok....but he is on R&R until he heals).

 

Gina Campodonico & Windmill's Robbing the Bank (Cisco) 4/20/08 Silver Bullet Stockdog trial. Gina & Cisco entered both the a.m. & p.m. trial on sheep even though they were not quite ready to trial(Gina has never trained or trialed on stock). They qualified and placed on both runs to earn Cisco's STDs.

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).4/11/08 USDAA Haute Tracs-Dixon. Jinn Q'd in masters pairs and masters snookers (a dropped bar knocked him out of super Q contention).

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).4/5-6/08 ASCA/Yamhill OR. Jinn received 5 Q's with 4-1st and 1-3rd place. Nicole is hoping Jinn has enough points for Las Vegas Nationals.

 

 

Ch. Windmills Need For Speed DNA-VP (Zoom), 3/29-30/0/8. Zoom received multple Q's with class placements to earn his Elite jumpers title. He also Q'd on one of his standard runs. Saturday was pretty much a wasted day as Zoom was thinking of girl dogs.

 

Marcia Hodes and Windmill's Meant To Be, TD (Shane). 03/23/08 Shane passed his AKC tracking test. Shane is 8 months old and has now passed both his ASCA and AKC tracking tests. Huge congrats to Marcia and Shane.

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).2/24/08 ASCA agility-So. Cal. - Multiple Q's with 1st and 2nd placements.....Also Jinn went HIT.

 

 

Marcia Hodes and Windmill's Meant To Be, TD (Shane). 2/16/08 Shane passed his ASCA tracking test. Shane is 7 months old. Huge congrats to Marcia and Shane.

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).02/03/2008 USDAA Turlock-Jinn completed the requirements for his MAD title.

 

 

Marcia Hodes and Windmill's Meant To Be (Shane). 1/30/08 Shane past his tracking certification. He is now eligible to compete in both AKC and ASCA tracking events for the year.

 

Nicole Watts and Windmill's DJinn Fizz(Jinn).01/26/2008 USDAA Santa Rosa, Jinn Q'd & placed 3rd out of 35 dogs in Masters Jumpers.

 

 

Windmill's Smokey 1V (Smokey) 01/15/08 and Jerry Del Rio and their SAR training. Smokey cleared 90 acres in 3.5 hours and found his subject. They hope to test for State certification in May or June.
